Weather Vain # 3

Weather Vain # 3

Weather Vain Magazine – Issue Three (November 1975)

Welcome to the third edition of Weather Vain Magazine.

We hope you enjoyed our first two issues. The response has been tremendous and we’ve done our best to make this edition even better, with a superb collection of reader letters and what we believe is some of the finest shiny black rubber photography we’ve ever published.

This issue’s cover and main photo session feature four beautiful models — Margaret, Betty, Simone and Kara — in a dazzling array of shiny black rubber mackintoshes, capes, latex outfits and aprons. The dramatic four-girl poses are a real highlight and we think you’ll agree the results are spectacular.

Among the letters this time we have SQUELCHY’s unforgettable account of a late-night wading adventure in the sea with his wife in her rubber mackintosh and wellingtons; a long and fascinating piece from a reader about the joys (and risks!) of wearing women’s mackintoshes; MAUREEN’s continuing story; a candid letter from Mrs. Pat X together with the Editor’s typically forthright reply; childhood memories from Mac Anon Anon; wet and muddy rubber adventures from AQUAMAC; and STICKLER’s lively account of latex games and mild spanking with his wife. There’s also plenty more from regular correspondents.

We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

Please note that these are home scans, so the quality can vary — some pages are clear, others are softer or slightly blurry. I’ll be improving the scanning over time. This issue continues the mix of nostalgia, reader letters and glossy rubber mackintosh imagery that has made the Weather Vain series so popular. We hope you enjoy it.If you have photos, stories, letters or cuttings you’d like to share, the Editor would love to hear from you — contributions from readers around the world are always very welcome.

Photographs in this Issue

Cover: A dramatic set piece in shiny black rubber. Margaret, Betty, Simone and Kara give you our very first four-girl pose. If only rubber-proofers could appreciate the beauty of shiny black rubber! Oh well, we can just go on hoping and trying.

2: Simone in a superb French shiny black rubber mackintosh. (no longer available, of course).

3: Simone again, wearing our latex cami knickers (L.2.) in bedroom conversation with Margaret in her latex maid’s outfit.

4: The four girls together again. Simone’s mac came from Yves St. Laurent (£100+), Betty’s shiny black rubber mackintosh cape came (some years ago) from Weather Vain. Kara’s mackintosh came from France (£60 odd a year or so back) and Margaret wears her own shiny black rubber maxi we sold in the shop not long ago for £20. Wish we could buy them at that price now!

5: Kara, Betty and Simone show more shiny black rubber. Semi-nude haters are getting a good deal in this issue – no complaints please!

6: Close-up of the beautiful Kara in Simone’s French mackintosh.

7: Margaret and Betty in this issue’s ‘love scene’. Latex nurse’s uniform, latex mackintosh nightie.

8: For cape or mackintosh fans. If you fancy both – you get an extra bonus with this lovely photograph.

9: We couldn’t resist another shiny black rubber foursome. We think Betty really shows her love of rubber in this shot.

10: Yet another foursome, this one for apron and semi-nude fans. Four lovely girls wearing nothing but rubber aprons. From the left: Betty, Maggie, Kara and Simone. Incidentally, the photo session which produced all these beautiful pictures turned out to be quite a party. We won’t go into details because readers will only start shouting “fantasy” at us. Be assured however, that truth is indeed stranger than fiction – and a lot more fun too! It may be of interest to readers that before this session, Kara had never set eyes on a rubber garment of any description. Simone is also a newcomer to the rubber scene – and she has taken to it like a duck to water!
